We routinely board horses for customers. Prices vary according to accomodations required and fluctuate with feed prices. We buy the best natural feeds including alfalfa, bermuda, and whole grains and feed morning and evening. Pens and loafing areas are cleaned daily.
Horses that get along well with others can be kept in herd situations on two large pastures at a reduced rate. The geldings have 60 acres and the mares have 17 acres. We have an assortment of pens, all with shelters and running room to provide separate accomodations for those that need it.
I personally have 50+ years experience caring for horses and I am involved on a daily basis in the management of the place and the animals. I have excellent working relationships with the local veternarians and my farrier, Vincent Vesely, CJF (Diamond Bar V Horseshoeing, LLC) is the best I have ever
seen. I would put him up against anybody.
A round pen is available and many trails into the Gila National Forest can be reached without trailering. Trips are frequently taken out in small groups to some of the local trails including Fort Bayard Game Preserve, Saddle Rock, Signal Peak and Meadow Creek. Wildlife including coyotes, fox and deer can frequently be seen while trail riding and in the barn area.
Foothills Arabians can provide a great lifestyle for your horse and we welcome all light horse breeds.
